Ten nights, three horizons. You begin beneath Table Mountain at the edge of the Atlantic. You cross to Tanda Tula in the Timbavati Nature Reserve, part of the unfenced Greater Kruger landscape. You end on a coral atoll in the Indian Ocean, where the reef drops away into deep blue water.

Think of this as a flavour of what's possible. Every journey is shaped around your party, your dates, your pace. Any lodge, night count, or activity can be swapped in or out.

I. Cape Town: the first breath

Ellerman House, Cape Town · Days 1–4

Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

You land at Cape Town International to a meet-and-greet, then a private transfer to Ellerman House, high above the Atlantic in Bantry Bay. An afternoon with the art collection, or on the terrace as the sun goes down over the sea.

Days 2–3: Table Mountain, Cape Peninsula and Winelands

Two days with Escape+Explore take you from the Table Mountain cableway and Cape Peninsula to the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch valleys. Along the way are Cape Point, the Boulders penguins, estate tastings and a farmhouse lunch.

Day 4: North to the Timbavati

A private transfer to the airport and a direct flight to Hoedspruit, where a road transfer takes you into the reserve.

II. Tanda Tula: the Timbavati

Tanda Tula Safari Camp · Days 4–7

Day 4: Into the Timbavati

Airlink from Cape Town to Hoedspruit (4Z 657, 10:15 to 12:45). A drive through the Timbavati brings you into camp in time for the afternoon game drive. Welcome home.

Days 5–6: The rhythm of the bush

Coffee at first light, followed by morning and afternoon drives with the same guide and tracker. Between outings, there is time for brunch on the main deck, a guided bush walk and an evening boma dinner around the fire.

Day 7: East to the Indian Ocean

The journey to the islands begins with a road transfer to the lowveld airport, followed by flights via Johannesburg to Mahé. The final connection to Alphonse follows the island's limited flight timetable and may require a night on Mahé, depending on your dates. Your travel consultant will confirm the route before quoting.

III. Alphonse: the atoll

Alphonse Island, Seychelles · Days 7–11

Day 7: Arrival on the atoll

A light aircraft brings you in low over the lagoon to Alphonse. Settle into your beach bungalow as the tide turns and the day cools.

Days 8–10: The reef and the lagoon

Three full days follow the tide. Fish the flats, dive or snorkel over the reef, explore by kayak or bicycle, or spend an unhurried afternoon on the beach. There is time to do as much or as little as you choose.

Day 11: Departure

A last morning on the beach, then the charter back to Mahé and the flight home.

The islands are worth the journey. From Tanda Tula, the route continues through Johannesburg and Mahé before the final flight to Alphonse. Inter-island flights run on a limited schedule, so the journey may require a night on Mahé or a change to the order. Your travel consultant will confirm the cleanest connection before quoting.

No. Fly-fishing is a major draw, but Alphonse also offers diving, snorkelling, beaches, bicycles and a spa. The stay is all-inclusive.

The Timbavati Nature Reserve is a low-risk malaria area. We'll advise on simple precautions before you travel. Cape Town and the Seychelles are malaria-free.

Yes. The safari or the island stay can be lengthened, and Alphonse can be exchanged for another Seychelles or Indian Ocean property. Your travel consultant can shape it around you.
